Planning for the 2006 incarnation of the Donald R. Minx Invitational Marching Contest is well underway, and we're opening up registration early! Bands registering by August 1 will pay only $125, so sign your band up today! Registration will be open until October 15, and no registrations will be accepted after that date.
The 2006 Contest will take place on Saturday, October 28, in the newly renovated Indian Stadium. The contest takes place on an ACT test date. We will make every attempt to accommodate bands with members who are taking the ACT, both in our scheduling of individual bands and in our scheduling of the contest itself.
Scoring has again been changed for the 2006 Contest; we are returning to a weighted 100-point system, and Division Ratings are now tied directly to a band's score. Check the rules page for more information.
